Graham Watson, MEP and European Lib Dem Leader visits Calne

Graham Watson, MEP and European Liberal Democrat Leader visited Calne today to meet voters ahead of the Euro and unitary elections on Thursday.

Graham spoke to residents and delivered letters to voters on behalf of local Lib Dem candidates Ross Henning (Candidate for Calne Chilvester and Abberd) and Howard Marshall (candidate for Calne Central).

Following the visit Howard, who is currently Mayor of Calne, said: "I have met Graham several times now and he is a great MEP for the South West and a good campaigner.

People in Calne were pleased to see him out on the streets campaigning about local issues which affect their daily lives as well as the pan European stuff, which impacts us all in different ways."

• Remember this Thursday is election day - polling stations are open from 7am-10pm.

If you haven't sent back your postal vote you can still use it to vote.

You or someone else can take your sealed postal vote envelope with your identity form signed and with your date of birth filled in to the polling station.
